BuyBluePrints.com is a service available to architects to list and sell commercial and residential plans online. If you have a plan you would like to submit for consideration, just send us a schematic floor plan along with photos of the completed project or elevation sketches.
Our architectural review committee will review the plans for quality of design and layout. Our goal is to provide our customers with high quality “state-of-the-art” designs in all building types. We frequently receive inquiries for project types not yet listed on our site. Recent inquiries have included dog kennels and car dearerships.
If your plan is selected, you will receive information to help you put the drawings into a format appropriate for re-sale as a “prototype” architectural plan. The original design architect receives 50% of the sale price for each plan-set sold. In addition, design architects may be hired by purchasers to modify plans, if they are registered where the project is to be built.
Architects selected to list plans on-line with BuyBluePrints.com will gain international exposure and recognition for excellence in their specific building type. We receive inquiries from around the world. Unless agreed to otherwise in a contract with a particular client, U. S. architects own the copyright to their work. BuyBluePrints commerical plans are sold as "prototype" plans only. In the United States this means that all plans (with the execption of residential plans below certain square footages) must be sealed by an architect. Purchasers of our plans agree to have the plans modified by a registered architect and checked for local code compliance when applicable. Liability rests with the architect who modifies the plans. |
